With the Microsoft Teams Integration for Team GPS Rewards & Recognitions, users will be able to tap into the recognition feed (Social Feed) and provide everyone with instant updates in Microsoft Teams when a colleague is recognized. Users will also be able to give recognition straight from within Microsoft Teams and see how many points they have available to give.
Sequence of Steps:
- Step 1: Add Azure Tenant ID in Team GPS
- Step 2: Add Team GPS Tab to your Channel
- Step 3: View Shoutouts
Add Azure Tenant ID in Team GPS
Note: Please make sure to complete this step before adding the Tab to Microsoft Teams. If you've already added the Tab, kindly remove it first, enter your Tenant ID, and then re-add the Tab to ensure proper setup.
- Access your Team GPS tenant and go to Single Sign-On, located under Integrations in the Admin Settings.
- Once you're in the Single Sign-On (SSO), please enter your Tenant ID and click on Save.
Add Team GPS Tab to your Channel
Note: Global Teams Admin access in Microsoft Teams is required to Add the Team GPS Tab to a Microsoft Teams Channel
- Open Microsoft teams and go to a Team's Channel > Click on + Icon on the top where it says Add a tab
- Search Team GPS > Click on the app once it appears.
- Now enable the toggle where it says Post to the channel about this tab > Then click on Save button
- And there you have it! Your tab has been successfully added.
Note: Please ensure that all relevant employees are added in this Teams
View Shoutouts
Note: You can rename the Channel to anything relevant you want (For example: Kudos Board, Shout-Outs, etc)
With your Teams integration now complete, every shout-out—whether shared from the Microsoft Teams app or the TeamGPS portal—will automatically appear in both places.
It’s all synced, making it easier than ever to recognise and celebrate your team’s efforts, no matter where you give the shout-out.
