With the Microsoft Teams Integration for Team GPS Rewards & Recognitions, users will be able to tap into the recognition feed (Social Feed) and provide everyone with instant updates in Microsoft Teams when a colleague is recognized. Users will also be able to give recognition straight from within Microsoft Teams and see how many points they have available to give.

Add Azure Tenant ID in Team GPS

Note: Please complete this step before adding the Bot and Tab to Teams. If you've already added them, kindly remove them, include your Tenant ID, and then add the Bot and Tab again.


  1. Access your Team GPS tenant and go to Single Sign-On, located under Integrations in the Admin Settings.



  2. Once you're in the Single Sign-On (SSO), please enter your Tenant ID and click on Save.




Add Team GPS Bot to your Channel

Note: Global Teams Admin access in Microsoft Teams is required to Add the Team GPS Bot to a Microsoft Teams Team or Channel


Disclaimer: You need to set up the app as a Bot first, otherwise it might not work properly. 
So please see all the steps carefully before you make any changes.


  1. Open Microsoft Teams and select "Apps" in the left-hand navigation menu



  2. Search for 'Team GPS' in the App search and select the app



  3. Click "Add" then "Add to a team" and select the Team or Channel where you would like to add the Team GPS bot




  4. Click on drop down icon available right side to Set up option and select Set up a bot.



  5. The Team GPS bot will send a chat to you giving you instructions on how to recognize your coworkers!


Note: Once installed, all shoutouts given from Team GPS' Social Feed, or from within Microsoft Teams via the Team GPS Bot, will show in the Microsoft Teams channel selected during installation




Add Team GPS Tab to your Channel


Note: Please ensure that the Bot has been added before you proceed adding the Tab.


  1. Open Microsoft teams and go to a Team's Channel > Click on + Icon on the top where it says Add a tab

  2. Search Team GPS > Select it and click Add > And then in next window click Save

  3. And there you have it! Your tab has been successfully added.





View Shoutouts

Note: You can rename the Channel to anything relevant you want (For example: Kudos Board, Shout-Outs, etc)


The Microsoft Teams Integration will also display all shoutouts given in the Kudos Board! Microsoft Teams channel. Make sure you are added so you can see when colleagues are recognised for a job well done!
